Matt McGarvey is the executive director of Telligen Community Initiative (TCI), the charitable foundation of Telligen, Inc., a private, nonprofit healthcare intelligence company headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa.

As executive director, Matt leads Telligen’s regional health philanthropy efforts and is actively involved in supporting projects and organizations that strive to improve the health of communities in Iowa, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Colorado.

 Sherry. Perkins serves as Treasurer for Connexus Behavioral Health and Disability Services and is also a member of the Investment Committee for the United Way Women United Leadership Council. 

​

Ms. Perkins is the Vice President Finance and Controller for Delta Dental of Iowa (DDIA). In addition, she is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation and a board member for Veratrus Benefit Solutions, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dustyn Curran is a Real Estate Development Manager for Ryan Companies, a national vertically integrated real estate firm.

 

Community involvement and volunteerism are essential to Dustyn, serving on the board of directors of Rebuilding Together of Greater Des Moines,  the Epilepsy Foundation, and the finance council for St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, as well as Design-Build Institute of America, .  He is a member of the Business Record’s Forty under 40 class of 2022 and the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute’s Community Leadership Program class of 2023.

Lisa Mart has over 20 year of Human Resources experience both in the private and public sector.

 

Lisa assists management and supervisors within the Iowa Municipalities and Worker's Compensation Association and Iowa League of Cities develop the skills necessary to successfully lead and coach their employees. She also provides training on a variety of topics to their members as well as various partners and associations.

 

In her free time Lisa enjoys attending her teenagers' activities and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Kansas State University.

Jason Parkin, a LeMars, Iowa native,forcasted and reported Iowa’s ever-changing weather conditions for 20 years before transitioning to business development in the financial industry.

Jason and his wife, Kelly, have a very active home, with three wonderful sons, Nolen, Maddox and Hudson, and Radar the dog.

 

Jason serves on the board of the Urbandale Chamber and the Urbandale Parks Commission, and enjoys cycling and the outdoors.

Bernie Stone is the Managing Owner of Strategery Holdings, Founder & President of Strategic Scouts Consulting, and is the founding City Leader for Bunker Labs chapter in Des Moines, Iowa.

 

A retired Army Officer and Afghanistan Combat Veteran, Bernie served overseas for fifteen years and traveled to over fifty countries. He also served in five U.S. Embassies as a Diplomat and received the Republic of Lithuania's Medal of Merit - that country's highest military honor.

 

An entrepreneur, Bernie also enjoys a great cup of coffee and traveling.

Michael Dayton shares his passionate about leadership, teaching, coaching, and serving his community, especially in the areas of child education and welfare as our board president.

 

Michael is a member of the Business, Finance and Real Estate Department at Nyemaster. During his career, Michael has led and assisted on hundreds of merger and acquisition transactions from public to public mergers to the sales of small privately held companies. Michael also routinely assists clients with general contracting matters, including contract management processes and data and cybersecurity matters relating thereto; corporate formation and governance issues; commercial lending and secured transactions; regulatory matters; local counsel opinions; and other commercial transactions.
